History
Colonel’s House is a unique building renovation project in the heart of Riga’s Quiet Centre, at Pulkveza Brieza street 15. The project consists of two historic buildings originally built in the neoclassical style in 1939. The structural engineer and designer was A. Durbach.
The buildings form a harmonious residential complex with a private courtyard. The main façade retains original classical elements, a rarity among buildings in the centre of Riga.
Colonel’s House is developed by River Properties, a real estate developer specialising in the renovation of pre-war buildings – combining more than 15 years of experience in the sector.
The architectural concept of the project was developed by Dita Lapiņa, architect at SIA “LDU” Research and Design Office “KROKS”. The sophisticated character of the project is complemented by the interior design and visual identity of KOMARE STUDIOS.
